BIOWATER is a Nordic Centre of Excellence, with a main goal to examine the impacts of the bioeconomy on land use and freshwater quality and quantity.

The present study focuses on police detectives fighting crime on a specific part of the internet: the TOR-network.

This research project will help improve the basic understanding needed for policy-making related to promotion of green growth technological innovations.

The proposed project, Taking surveillance apart, will produce a deeper understanding of the legal provisions for the powers of intelligence and law enforcement agencies to monitor online communications data, and how surveillance, data collection and analysis is (or will be) regulated.

The ambition of the proposed NORDICORE Centre of Excellence is to create knowledge that will further advance gender balance and diversity in research and innovation. The future of the Nordic knowledge economy depends on our ability to attract the most highly qualified men and women to excel in the field of research and research based innovation. At a time where scientific excellence and international competition is increasing in significance and our welfare states are under ever greater pressure, it is crucial to produce solid knowledge on which to base further policies and practices in the field.

The NordAqua NCoE brings internationally recognized Nordic senior scientists and younger PIs together with experts in industrial biorefinery fields in order to generate a multidisciplinary platform for rapid transition to sustainable blue bioeconomy.
