The Nordic Co-operation Committee for Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOS-HS) is a collaboration between the research councils of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden responsible for research in the humanities and social sciences.
Its main purpose is to promote research in the humanities and social sciences in the Nordic countries. It also serves as a forum for sharing information and facilitating cross-border co-operation between the research councils and their administrations.
NOS-HS currently funds 7 bottom-up research projects and a number of workshop projects in the humanities and social sciences.
